Same with me :D when the first keys arrived yesterday, it was pretty close to 10pm at my place. I hope that it will be the same today, so I can play a few hours before going to sleep ;)

Hello Keyseed developers,
I bought the beta-key this morning ( Piggy Backer $ 9 Seed Sower ) April 29th 2018. I live in Europé in Sweden. I wonder at what time will I receive my Beta-key. Do you send it to my mail, steam or Humble Bundle webbsite? On Humble Bundle website they said "Thanks for purchasing Kynseed - Seed Sower, this site is claimed by you" so vill I receive the Beta-key to Humble Bundle website so I can unlock it in steam?
The time I'm writing this letter to you is 16.30 PM in the afternoon. You promised to deliver the Beta-key in the afternoon but I havent received anything. Please tell me at what time I will receive the Beta-key or if it will be delayed a couple of days?. I'm looking forward to play and test your game.
/Kind regards
Peter
How do you download the game to play the closed beta? I have a key but the game isn't available to access on steam and I can't find anywhere to download it..... I must be being dumb right now.
Edit: Nevermind, figured it out!!
I've only played the beta up until the festival so far,but I have some thoughts. Some of these might have been mentioned already by others, but I haven't had the time to read through everything,so apologies if I repeat a lot of what others have said so far.
-Time. Mainly it feels like there isn't enough time in a day right now, when I had to go to mother Hubbard to learn to cook,I could barely make it back to the farm to go to sleep. Not knowing where exactly she lived was also a part in this, but I didn't spend that much time looking around. This might be relieved by stopping time while doing certain things, like when you are looking in your inventory,or reading a book. Right now I find myself rushing through reading books and conversation because of it,which makes me miss quite a bit of information. Another option is to increase the time it takes for a day to pass by a bit. I already feel rushed trying to accomplish all the tasks in a day sometimes,I couldn't imagine running a business and a farm at the same time in later stages of the game.
-Target toggle button. I feel like this would be very useful. Especially since a lot of people seem to prefer standing on the exact same spot at the moment :P.
But it would also help when Dad is milking the cow,to better be able to choose which one to interact with.
-Controls. A few things bothered me about the controls, mainly having to hold down buttons during interacting instead of it being toggled. This could cause unwanted interactions or accidentally giving things away. One other thing I noticed is when the game tells you about certain controls,it generally only tells you the controller ones, even though I am playing with keyboard and mouse. This was especially confusing during the blacksmithing mini-game. It told me to press A to hit when over the target, but it didn't work, because that was for a controller,so I had no idea what to exactly press,so I figured it out by trying different ones till I got the right one.
-The music. Specifically the abrupt changes when walking into shops. I think this is mainly an issue cause in most other games like this, you load into a house,so you have a small break with a black screen and no music while entering. I think a better approach might be fading out the current playing tune, then fading in the shop's music. This way it wouldn't be such an abrupt change, which could feel quite jarring.
-Planting seeds. The way it works now is rather tedious, and it doesn't seem to work all the time. When I tried planting cabbages,I had to do it about 5 times on the 4th plot before it got planted. This might be because the positioning is very precise, but it looked like it just didn't register it a couple of times. Maybe a better option,or even an alternative to the one that you have right now,is to hold the seeds and click on the plot you want to plant it in. The current method is also useful for when you have a lot of different seeds,so having two methods of planting for different situations would be handy.
-Sleeping animation. This is more of a visual bug/glitch,but oftentimes when I went to bed in the evening my character sort of floated perpendicular to the bed above the ground instead of in the bed. And weirdly when I was up too late and fell asleep outside,a bed suddenly appeared.
Anyway, those are my thoughts at the moment, don't get me wrong,I still really liked playing it for the short time I had time for so far,and excited to see where this might go in the future(hopefully a future without truffles disappearing on me :P).
Hi!
I'm a Kickstarter backer and I opted in the day beta was announced and I was just wondering when the email will come in. I hope I didn't miss anything. Sorry to be a bother!
The day does feel too short in my opinion. How long is a day in real time? 15 mins? 20 mins? I need to explore the world and enjoy the beautiful world!
I also backed and am waiting for my key.
Hey there! Really enjoyed the Beta! I finished it in roughly 3 hours while taking my time and exploring every part of the map. I met most of the NPC's and really like the scale of how big it is. A few points to take away of course! Obviously animations aren't close to completion yet, but we're definitely on the right track! No real gripes when it comes to how anything looks, it's all very beautiful and a work in progress. The AI was very basic but that was not surprise at all. They'd stack on top of each other making it difficult to talk to specific people. I found a cat about an hour into my play but he ended up sitting on my crops and I could no longer select him or play with him. Hes forever just chilling there. (Not a big issue AT ALL, just wanted to bring these up.)Civilians would greet me through walls and didn't feel very unique besides The Blacksmith, Mother Hubbard and the Apothecary. The story that I got to play was VERY cool, my only complaint was the cliffhanger. ;) Wanted to see a bit more with the festival though. When Druids day (as I'll call it) does come around, It should feel unique! I always threw offerings at the goddess when I passed her anyway, so it didn't seem like a real celebrated event. I would of loved to see a small gathering or something different! I noticed the Druids day celebrator NPC, but they don't do much yet. Also, this last bit of criticism is very small and I'm absolutely SURE is for us lovely beta testers, but I didn't really appreciate the 4th wall breaking dialogue. The joked were funny, I even laughed out loud to one description. However, I wanted to really immerse myself in the world and kept getting taken out of it by very minor quirks that other people may not find the same. Who knows, somebody may love the game more because of it, but that's my opinion. :) This game has HUGE potential, it absolutely oozes it! I can't wait to see the future updates and where we go in future! Thanks for letting us play beta! -Jeromeo first forum post ever, anywhere.
