Character customisation would be amazing! But as others have said I don't think eye colour is important. I would be more than satisfied with a few different skin, hair types and clothing colours. That said, what would be even more amazing would be a system that changes your appearance based on your actions! Like in the fable series (mostly the first two). And I know it's probably an insane amount of work, but I hope you will consider it nonetheless! Anyway, can't wait to see something new from you guys. Keep it up!

I'm all in for Character Customizion. Especially skin and hair. Also, having balding Charas would be hilarous too.
But if You will be able to obtain any genetic traits for the next generations via breeding with the Npcs who have these traits, a limited customization with the genetics of the PC preset would be a right for me. Inheritance is far more Important for me than Customizing the first PC.
Having different eyecolors would be great, as long as you can see an actual eye color. If the charsets show only a little black dot for example, it will also be ok.

Hair colour
Different hair styles
Facial hair
Different casual clothes (styles, alignment, quality)
Different work clothes (styles, alignment, quality, level/rarity)
Different armour (styles, alignment, quality, level/rarity).
Love the idea of balding over time.
Trophies? Achieving certain conditions unlocks trophies (key to the village for being a pillar of the community. The trophies could be a key the character could hold up. Likewise have a bad run at farming or running a business and you get a dunces cap or something similar).
For the apocathery could we have some plague doctor style costumes...? Similar to a certain peachy character...

Just a heads up, but there is no alignment / good or evil / morality present in Kynseed.
This is partly due to the way the world works and the laws of the land.
There are pranksters, jealousies, rivalries, affairs, fears, suspicion and mistrust....but murder and any notion of an evil deity / evil is not a thing the people of Quill experience.
They worship the Fae goddesses, 6 major female and 2 minor male, and celebrate and revere nature and enjoy their own pleasures...whether that be pies or promiscuity, dancing or delicious pies.

You can never deny pie. Anyone get in the way, that's their mistake

I’m definitely all for customization, even if tis just the clothingchanging with the equips
-
Call me opposite the less customization the better I feel the customization should happen through the random traits of marriage you have with your spouse. Personally I would love to see your character age and grow old with the rest of the community and add some authenticity and connection to our protagonist. I think too much customization to could rob the whimsical appeal of the aesthetic.

Oh I didn't realize we get to customise :O
I think just as a matter of good practice and racial equality that skin colour should be an option, but the other options would be a nice extra feature, I personally love it when I change change hair style and colour, not to bothered about clothing though.

Even if the character customization is basic I'd be fine with it. I'd be fine with skin color options, hair color, and clothes options. Eye color is fine too, but if you must black is fine.

Definitely agree with what has already been said. I think the big ones are skin colour and hair colour. Different hair styles would be nice, I'd love to see natural hairstyles for darker skinned characters, although I'm not sure how tight curls and different hair textures would translate to pixels, but it would be lovely to see.
