Bucket Bug

Hey there!

It seems there is a tiny tin bucket bug.
Eventhough I have a wooden and a tin bucket it shows as two wooden buckets. Also, if I buy another tin bucket, it also transforms into a wooden one.

A bigger problem with the buckets which occured to me: I had three buckets assigned to hot keys. But whenever I chose one of them, all got activated.

I am playing on windows 10.

Same here. They don't "transform" into wooden buckets, they simply get the texture of them.

I can also confirm that all buckets get activated.

I have the same problem with all buckets using wood image on hot bar. Additionally, although one is filled with milk and the other with honey, when I try to cook, I see 2 glasses (?) of water (which I don't have), but not milk or honey, so i can't make the recipe.

Yes me too, I reported it too in my bugs thread.

Hopefully this should be improved with the new build. But there are still some issues. What should be fixed:
- buckets can be used after loading a save
- when you place an item on the toolbar it should swap the position of the item there with the existing version of that item (the item highlight all three was cos it detected they were the same but it was a bit confusing and not really useful to have multiple ones of the same type)

What's not fixed:
- the transforming bit. Ran out of time today to look at this, but should hopefully get to it in a build next week!


Standard info to mention:
The build should automatically update on steam, with humble bundle you'll unfortunately need to download the zip again from their website
New build should display Build 2 in the top right on options menu for identification!

I'm having a similar but different bucket issue - getting the same texture sharing issue, but I can't fill my bucket with anything else and have it register now I've filled it with water. I emptied the bucket, milked the cow, went to Mother Hubbard and the only thing I can gift her is water. (Playing on Win 10)

Sorry for the lack of replies on bug reports atm. Been mostly trying to fix the issues but have been looking in here to see what's coming up. We have just released an update today (Build 3!) and buckets should now retain their type.

I'm not sure on the last issue tho it might be connected. Will add it to the list to look into hopefully for the build next week.

Downloaded the latest build but the tin bucket turns into the wooden bucket once you exit the game and resume from the save :(

Is this on a new save or an old save? These fixes will apply to new saves as it's not possible to fix old ones. I believe the latest version of saves for the build is V6 (and the build should say Build 3).
