Cooking Contest?
I'm not sure of this has been mentioned before if maybe I'm just blind to seeing if you guys already have plans for something like this, BUT I think due to the games cooking system I'd love to see some sort of cooking contest within one of the Havens or elsewhere!
I already love the idea of gathering ingredients and recipes, so I think it would be a lot of fun to hear there's a cooking contest coming up in the local Haven so you have X amount of days to gather ingredients, recipes and prepare for a cook off!
You could have guest appearances from recurring characters as judges (hell, maybe even Mr. Fairweather himself) and rewards could consist of special ancient recipes only handed down from the greatest chefs to one another.
A great example of how this has been executed in the past is in a game called "Suikoden 2". I'll link up a video riiiight... HERE!

While it seems basic here, I imagine you could do a lot more with this idea in Kynseed, considering the gathering of resources or even farming exotic ingredients for that perfect stew... OR MAYBE... you end up poisoning one of the judges.. idk!
Just a thought at something else to add to this ever growing masterpiece hah!

I like that idea....though Mr Fairweather will certainly not be participating as he has a far too busy schedule.
Busy! Busy! I am indeed! Go cook yourself and eat with greed!

Awww tis a damn shame that Mr Fairweather won't be joining us for lunch, however... maybe we can do delivery?
I make a mean stew after all... and I'd hate for him to miss out!
(Full disclosure... I dont even know how to make stew)

Suikoden was so good - it's so strange that the older games had such small details that were so addicting but also those SMALL details are what made these games some of the greatest RPG of all time. ^.^ Coh also loved my tweet on kynseed since i told him to take a look at it and he followed them on twitter so im kinda geeking out at the moment too..SORRY Randomness.

Nice to see a fellow Suikoden Fan on the forums Secretcode haha! :D
Suikoden 2 especially was a childhood game for me, years ago I found a demo for it in the back of Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 at my cousins and I had to have it. The game is solid and because of the graphics it's timeless for me so I always return to play it every now and then!
